Our Sustainability Journey
Our Sustainability Journey
Our sustainability journey formally started with the development of our Sustainability Framework in 2022, which aspires to achieve compliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and The 10 Principles of the UN Global Compact.
Our Sustainability Framework captures the essence of our Environmental, Social, Governance efforts, and consolidates the many sustainability initiatives that we have already incorporated into our business and design strategies over the past decade.

Our People
“With the aim of zero fatalities at our construction sites...”
Recognising that our people are our greatest assets, our fundamental duty is to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for all our employees. With the aim of zero fatalities at our construction sites, we are serious in instilling a culture of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) whilst also looking out for the psychological safety, health and well-being of our people.
Embracing equality, diversity, inclusion and meritocracy
Embracing a safe and
healthy workplace
We strive to create and maintain a work environment in which people are treated with dignity, decency and respect, in line with our core values. We have strict rules against any form of intimidation, oppressions, exploitation or harassment, especially sexual harassment, at the workplace.
We adhere and comply with:
- Construction site safety standards
- Documented quality processes with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Organised environment using the 5S methodology
Nurturing Human Capital
We provide employment, training and career development for a multi-racial, gender-balanced work force. We offer employment to anyone based on merit, including fresh graduates, retired seniors and even women returning to work after career breaks.

“We always seek to minimize negative impacts on the environment...”
We are aware of our actions resulting in high carbon footprint, constraint of resources and climate change when planning and designing for our projects. We always seek to minimize negative impacts on the environment by adopting environmental-friendly business strategies and processes and by using sustainable materials and construction methods.
Our developments are designed to:

Universal Designs (UD)
Our universally-designed homes cater to all seasons and phases of life, including when mobility is affected, so one can age-in-place independently. This include universally-designed larger rooms, bathrooms and kitchen area within units to accommodate wheelchair turning radius. Prominent UD features include good accessibility and barrier-free spaces, slight ramps into units, bedrooms and bathrooms, large-gang switches at wheelchair height and considerations for other visible and invisible disablities.
Emphasis on place-making and community building
Our developments are built for inclusiveness with the creation of social spaces for people to meet, mingle, and participate in activities together.
Pragmatic designs that address safety and security
Some instances of planning for safety and security in our designs include:
- Fire sprinklers within residential units and in common areas.
- Protected fire refuge areas on every floor for wheelchair users, seniors and pregnant mothers to wait for rescue for up to 1 hour of fire.
- Automated External Defirbrillators (AED) devices for medical emergencies.
- Swimming pools and water features raised by 450mm to keep toddlers safe.
- Handrails and steps within pool for extra support.
- Playground and swimming pool areas fenced with child-safety gates.
- Children areas fitted with rubber mat flooring instead of carpeting.
